Cyber Hub and DLF Cyber City: the business default

If your trip revolves around meetings, Cyber City is the obvious base. The 15-minute walk from DLF Cyber Hub to most corporate towers means you skip the MG Road traffic entirely. Hotels here run ₹7,000–₹14,000 a night for four-star properties and ₹15,000+ for five-star (Trident, The Leela Ambience). The trade-off is weekends: the area empties out, restaurants close early, and you're paying a premium for proximity you won't use. For a Monday–Friday work trip, book here without hesitating.

The Rapid Metro connects Cyber City to Sikanderpur and MG Road, which matters if you're mixing business with a bit of leisure. A taxi from IGI Airport takes 25–40 minutes depending on time of day; pre-book or expect ₹600–₹900 with surge. Skip the hotels on the far side of Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road — you'll add 20 minutes to every commute. It's calmer than Cyber City, with better air and more green space, but you'll need a car or Ola for everything — there's no metro along the main stretch. Book here if you want space and don't mind 20–30 minute drives to Cyber City or Sector 29. The trade-off is evening energy: Sector 29's restaurant strip is a 15-minute cab ride, not a walk. MG Road, Sector 29 and Old Gurugram: value and nightlife

Sohna Road (Sectors 47–49) has become a mid-range hotel hub at ₹4,000–₹8,000, serving the industrial and IT offices along the Southern Peripheral Road. It's convenient if your work is in Udyog Vihar or Manesar, but it's a 45–60 minute drive to Cyber City in traffic. Manesar itself, 25km further south, is purely for the industrial belt — hotels at ₹3,500–₹6,000, nothing to do in the evening. Skip unless your factory or plant is there.

The airport belt around Aerocity and Mahipalpur technically sits in Delhi but is 15–20 minutes from IGI's Terminal 3.
