How we picked these pet-friendly hotels

How we picked: We started by identifying hotels in Atlanta that explicitly state pets are allowed on their own listings. This ensures that each property genuinely accommodates pets. We then ranked these hotels first by their star rating, giving higher priority to those with more stars. For hotels with the same star rating, we used guest ratings to determine the order. However, we adjusted for reliability by ranking hotels with ratings from very few reviews lower. This method provides a balanced and trustworthy list, focusing on quality and pet-friendly policies without external influences.

Tips for pet-friendly stays in Atlanta

When traveling with a pet to Atlanta, always confirm the hotel's pet policy directly before booking. Policies can vary, including weight limits, number of pets, and fees. Some hotels may have specific rooms designated for pet owners, so inquire about availability.

Bring familiar items for your pet, such as their bed, toys, and food, to help them feel at home in a new environment. This can reduce stress and make the stay more enjoyable for both of you. Also, pack waste bags and cleaning supplies in case of accidents.

Atlanta offers many pet-friendly outdoor spaces, like parks and trails. Research nearby areas where you can walk your pet and allow them to exercise. Always keep your pet leashed and under control, and be respectful of other guests and local rules.

Consider the location of your hotel relative to your planned activities. Some hotels may be closer to pet-friendly attractions or have easy access to walking areas. This can save time and make your trip more convenient.

During your stay, be mindful of noise and cleanliness. Keep your pet quiet to avoid disturbing other guests, and clean up after them promptly. A considerate approach ensures that hotels continue to welcome pets in the future.
